Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the Pakistan army on Thursday evening resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along LoC in Nowgam sector in Handwara Kupwara district. Army spokesperson said that Pakistani troopers on Thursday evening resorted to “heavy shelling and fire” on Indian Army posts, which was retaliated effectively.
